Our Martial Arts Programme

Inspired by old Chinese philosophies, religions and legends, Chinese martial arts with its varying fighting styles focus on imparting art, discipline and skills. We conduct a comprehensive host of martial art forms – such as taekwondo and wushu. Learn everything from the basics of footwork, grappling, sparring to performance arts. Our extensive programs cover sparring techniques, tactics and conditioning programs through a rigorous focus on drills, opponent analysis and competition tips.

Instructor: Hu Gang

From 2000-2024 Bachelor's degree from Shenyang Sports Institute, majoring in traditional sports and education. 2022 Studied at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, majoring in Master in Public Administration and Management programme. 

From 2007-2023, he was the head instructor in Singapore, and has extensive teaching experience in Wushu education and training. He developed and delivered athletes to the Singapore national team.

In 2009, he was the 1st coach of the Singapore Youth Wushu Team.

In 2015, served as technical advisor to the Myanmar National Wushu Team.

In 2016, served as a wushu teacher at the Sunshine School of the Embassy of P.R.China of Singapore.

In 2017, served as a martial arts teacher at Malanhua Arts School of the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre .

Instructor: Xie Dong Hua

  • National Martial Arts Routine First Runner-up for Men in the inaugural year, ranking third in Broadsword and fourth in Staff:
  • National Traditional Martial Arts Championship Men's Drunken Fist First Place;
  • Shandong Province Martial Arts Championship Routine Men's Saber and Staff Top Three as of now;
  • Has been teaching locally in Singapore for 10 years, including secondary schools, primary schools, CC, RC, etc.

Successfully organized four editions of the Singapore International Martial Arts Competition:

  • In 2013, held the first Singapore International Martial Arts Competition at Jurong West Stadium;
  • In 2015, successfully organized the second Singapore International Martial Arts Invitational;
  • In 2017, successfully co-organized the third International Martial Arts Exchange Competition at Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Hall;
  • In 2019, successfully organized the fourth International Martial Arts Competition at the Singapore Sports School Gymnasium.

To initiate education as the guiding ideology, we adhere to health first, people-oriented, teaching according to merit, inheriting culture, and constantly striving for self-improvement.

The martial arts practice process must start from the basics to stimulate interest in learning martial arts. To understand, be in love and establish a correct view of martial arts, we bring out the potential of students to strengthen their bodies, exercise will, cultivate moral character, enrich life, enhance friendship, and then have a correct outlook on life, values, world view.  

  1. To exercise skills, develop students’ coordination and rapid response ability and awareness of attack and defense, learn solid basic theory of martial arts knowledge, speak simple martial arts terminology and simple martial arts action name.

  2. Physical Well-Being
    • Form a correct posture
    • Develop physical fitness, through the basic movement of the practice of martial arts basic movements to develop students’ ligaments, collar sensitivity and other aspects of physical fitness.

  3. Mental Well-Being
    • Understand the role of martial arts on mental health and experience the psychological feelings of physical fatigue in martial arts practice.
    • To understand the relationship between martial arts and self-esteem and self-confidence is to show one’s desire and behavior.
    • Form a strong will to overcome difficulties, establish harmonious interpersonal relations, carry out martial arts education, train students to do things seriously, form a good spirit of cooperation and martial arts.  

We conduct lessons with a focused area as the goal, hierarchical teaching, more practice, demonstration lead, group guidance. Strength and physical fitness exercises are held once a month, while each class focuses on students’ flexibility, coordination, hand type, and step shape.

Contents of Teaching:

  1. Martial arts basic skills hand type, step type learning.
  2. Five-step boxing / Zodiac boxing study

Teaching Objectives:
  1. The development of students’ learning quality, improve the quality of action

  1. Pay attention to the details simple and clear, action standards
  2. In the training focus on training both inside and outside
