The "Belt and Road" Singapore International Cultural Festival has been held every two years since 2013 and has been successfully held four times. The event attracted nearly 10,000 participants from more than 50 countries and regions, making it unique in the field of youth cultural exchanges between New Zealand and China and becoming the most influential international event brand.
Since 2017, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Singapore has officially become the official supporter of the competition, and the attendance and support of Singapore's Minister of Education Ong Ye Kung in 2019 has pushed the cultural festival to a new level. In 2023, the World Cultural Heritage Federation and Soong Ching Ling Foundation joined in, laying a solid foundation for the cultural festival to go global and playing a key role in the integration of all ethnic groups around the world.
